CRITICAL TERMS IN RELIGIOUS STUDIES 2 The DEPARTMENT OF RELIGIOUS STUDIES offers the Honours course - REL4012S CRITICAL TERMS IN RELIGIOUS STUDIES 2 Prof Abdulkader Tayob The course focuses on the theoretical frameworks, methodological approaches, and keywords in the academic study of religion developed in Critical Terms 1 and introduces additional concepts that will prove valuable to the contemporary study of religion: Territory and Time; Modernity and Conflict; Culture and Writing; Transformation and Transgression; and Liberation and Value
