Dr. Stephen Scher June 1976 hunting with friend, Martin Dillon Dillon ran after porcupine w shotgun, tripped, shot himself autopsy - accidental death - case closed later, rumor of Scher affair w/ Dillon's wife 1978 - they married & moved
1992 - Dillon's father hired PI blood spatter on Scher's clothes and small cut in pants show he was standing closer to Dillon than stated ME exhumed body (1995) experiments w/ weapons differ from Scher's statement blood spatter on boots and wound evidence shows Dillon was kneeling w/ clay pigeon in hand
Dillon readying skeet machine when Scher shot him w/ hunting gun, not skeet shooting gun premeditaion convicted of 1st degree murder – life sentence, died in prison (2010)
Chris Benoit 2007 pro wrestler -missed scheduled appearances police did welfare check and found Benoit, wife, 7yr old son dead in home autopsies on all 3 wife - bruises on back, stomach; broken hyoid; blood on back of head - Chris held her down with knee as tied cord around body and neck - she struggled
son - sedative; internal injuries Benoit - strangled himself with cord from weight machine no known motive – possibles: 1. therapeutic testosterone - but no signs of rage 2. concussions - chronic traumatic brain injury - brain looked like an 85 yr old Alzheimer's patient
