Name: The Food Quality Protection Act Drafted: August 3,1996 Amended the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) and the Federal Food Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), No amendments to itself National

The Food Quality Protection Act controls how the EPA regulates pesticides. They must make sure the pesticide is safe around food for consumption and reassess the safety of the pesticide ever 10 years. It want to make sure that the pesticide is truly safe around humans and for possible ingestion. The less use of harmful pesticides gives less of a burden on the environment,
