Socialbanking Romahousingproject

via starting entrepreneurs support creation of new jobs via starting entrepreneurs We support large companies and SME in theis investments which also create employment but there is gap on the market for financing new businesses. Not primarily cool technological start-ups but small enterprises (shops, crestaurants, workshops, farming). These small companies with less than 10 employees contribute to 22% (Romania) - 40% (Slovakia) of jobs in business sector. We offer Business plan advisory, Business training, Financing up to 25.000 EUR with EIF guarantee, mentoring. One example (Slavomir) in video, second unemployed lady from rural Slovakia – acquired the only shop in the village which was supposed to be closed, now creating job for 2 relatives who were also unemployed and saved the shopping opportunity for the village

social organizations foster development of There are clients whom we cannot help directly that need something more basic than banking like care for elderly people, but also food, shelter for homeless or community centres for excluded communities. At the same time social organizations (NGOs, social entrepreneurs, social businesses) are lacking financial means – move out of big donors (especially touching Balkan countries and Romania), still low donations (Slovakia yearly private donation 13 MIO vs. Austria 600 MIO – almost 50 times less). They also cannot use many EU funds due to pre-financing / own equity needs which they do not have. We offer investment loans, working capital loans, bridge loans combined with capacity building programs organized by Erste Foundation or local partners (fundraising academy in CZ). Example Neratov in the video , gabarage in Austria upcycling of old materials by drug addicts

financial inclusion improve for low income people That is the most difficult, also very country specific and we need partners who have a strong relations with these communities that can help us in selecting the right clients (example Zweite Sparkasse where NGOs decide who will be client). Focus is on providing financial literacy, money advice, debt advice and offering saving programs and financing of selected purposes (housing, education, mobility…) Example Harald in the video but also slovak single mother with 3 kids, having 3 jobs where we help with debt issue for low income people

individual debt advisory for clients in difficult social circumstances combining financial education, saving and a loan for housing Roma houses Program for financial inclusion financial education Education and mentoring we do in cooperation with partners financial education for low income / over-indebted clients
