EQ: Can you utilize the engineering design process to build a structure to meet given criteria? Hook: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxJWin195kU Ms. Bettes’ example… Materials: Building blocks, EDP template, pencils, I-pads, Seesaw class QR code Lesson: Students will collaborate to plan, design, and build a structure that meets a given criteria. Criteria: Collaborate with your table group to complete your EDP sheet to plan, design, and build the KFC Big Chicken utilizing the Engineering Design Process Structure must contain two different materials Structure must stand on its own, structure cannot fall over Take a picture of your structure using an I-pad and post it to your Seesaw portfolio Differentiation: Students can work independently Access to technology
