Each county is working on addressing, some uses the SAMS site on a daily basis, some use their own system rather it be GIS or CAD and some still rely on a contractor. Greenbrier and Monongalia counties are in the process of putting together an RFP for their respective counties to update their addressing and centerline information.
Counties that we have shown doing work in the SAMS site from the period of October to May. A few counties may have been in there just one time, but the majority of the 27 counties use the SAMS site daily. A few of the counties do duplicate programs.

This is the process of where the new addresses and telephone numbers will be linked so that when a citizen calls 911 their information will show up immediately on the computer screen and the dispatcher will know exactly where to send emergency responders. If you’re one of the counties that I have displayed as No Information, contact me ASAP and I will provide you with the contact you will need to speak with at Frontier.
