Sant Nikolas

In the Czech Republic St In the Czech Republic St. Nicholas is presented in the bishop dress with a long white beard and he is accompanied by angels and devils. This group bypasses us in the night of 5th December.

Angels with St. Nicholas distribute the gifts and devils take care of the symbolic "punishment" and "haunting" naughty children.

St. Nicholas symbolizes for us a preparation for Christmas, gives children different goodies, fruit or small gifts for good luck.
