3 QUALITIES of Genuine Disciples (3 Parts of Spiritual Anatomy) Head Heart Hands

Colossians 1:3-5 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4 since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love that you have for all the saints,5 because of the hope laid up for you in heaven.

Colossians 1:5-7 Of this you have heard before in the word of the truth, the gospel, 6 which has come to you, as indeed in the whole world it is bearing fruit and increasing—as it also does among you, since the day you heard it and understood the grace of God in truth, 7 just as you learned it from Epaphras our beloved fellow servant.

The GOSPEL is simply…

Uncritical tolerance says… all = truth

Absolute objective truth says… cannot all = truth.

What are the absolutely foundational truths of the Gospel? 1. We have a PROBLEM—Rm. 3:23 2. God has a SOLUTION: Jesus--(I Cor. 15:3,4; Hebrews 4:15; 2 Cor. 5:21; I Peter 1:18, 19.) 3. We have a CHOICE--(John 1:12; 3:16; Romans 6:23)

There is an inseparable union between TRUTH & HOPE. Lies lead to hopelessness Truth leads to joy, peace & hope.
