Length: 5 days Lessons: 30 x 50minute lessons 6 lessons each day and follow the normal school timetable Location: Your school Materials: Your child will receive a workbook, folder, pen and certificate. They do not need to bring anything. Focus of course: 1. Fluency: opportunity to speak English every day intensively – it should almost become second nature to them! 2. Confidence: Activities designed to build your child’s self-belief in their ability to communicate in English 3. Motivation: The teachers do not use the native language in the classroom so your child is motivated to speak only English to make themselves understood. 4. Immersion in English language and British culture Activities: Your child will do many fun learning activities, which include: Language games, Role Plays Mingle activities Presentations Discussions/debates, Quizzes, Drama Presentation/Show – you child will work with their class towards an end of course drama sketches/presentations and you may be invited to watch your child perform. WHY ARE WE OFFERING THE COURSE? We work in an intensive, English only environment and use only qualified native speaker teachers, who are able to provide an effective programme that boosts the student’s confidence in speaking skills, leaving a long lasting impression on their attitude towards the language English in Action Based in Canterbury, UK. 25 years experience in delivering these courses Qualified native speaker teachers from the UK (no trainees or unqualified local native speakers).
