EFFECTS OF DEFORESTATION ON TRIBES To move away from their ancestral homes. Deforestation is also associated with the loss of animals and plants that the indigenous people depend on to survive. Their traditional life-styles, customs and religious beliefs can be lost. Loss of knowledge of medicine that had been passed down by their ancestors.  

SARISKA TIGER RESERVE An Indian national park Located in Alwar district, Rajastan. Created in 1978. A part of India's Project Tiger scheme. Present area of the park is 866 km². Attraction: Bengal Tigers. Forest is typical dry deciduous, dramatically changing with the change in season. The terrain is undulating plateau lands and wide valleys. Besides tiger, herbivores, spotted deer, sambar, blue bull can be commonly seen and found in good density.
