Healthwatch Central West London Healthwatch England and local Healthwatch were established by the Health and Social Care Act 2012 Healthwatch Central West London currently supports people who live, work or use services in Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster We work to ensure that the voice of consumers, patients and service users counts when it comes to shaping and improving local health and care services by listening, scrutinising, influencing and challenging As an independent charity, we currently have a membership of over 6,000 people who have committed to be involved in our work in a wide variety of ways This membership is supported and coordinated by 3 borough based local committees with support from a small staff team.

How can people make their voice heard? Share their own experience of health & social care services with us on-line, by phone, by post or face to face Become a member and be kept informed and updated of changes happening in health & social care services Become a volunteer - supporting outreach/specific projects/general administration - as a Dignity Champion - as an Authorised Representative - as a Local Committee Member - as a Trustee

Where we make your voice heard? We are involved in and have input into many key health and social care activities and fora locally: Health & Wellbeing Boards Clinical Commissioning Group Boards Trust Boards (Hospitals & Community) Patient Experience Committees Safety, Quality & Risk Committees Safeguarding Boards Scrutiny Committees And where necessary we can escalate to CQC and Healthwatch England.
