TN Promise Guidelines 16-17 AC YR (Cohort 1) 16-17 FAFSA Submission Date – February 22, 2016 Student must maintain SAP and Continuous Enrollment 8 Hours of Community Service completed and submitted Summer Term – May 1, 2016 Fall Term – August 1, 2016 Submit 2016-2017 TN Promise Application (TSAC Student Portal) – July 1, 2016 TASFAA 2016 Legacy of Leadership

TN Promise Guidelines 16-17 AC YR (Cohort 2) Application deadline – November 2, 2015 Two (2) Mandatory Meetings hosted by partnering organization 16-17 FAFSA Submission Date – February 22, 2016 (Renewal) 8 Hours of Community Service completed and submitted – August 1, 2016 (fall) May 1, 2016 if student will begin in Summer ‘16 term Submit materials to institution for FAFSA verification – October 1, 2016 Will be communicated to student as July 15, 2016 *Priority Deadline* TASFAA 2016 Legacy of Leadership

TN Promise Guidelines 17-18 (Cohort 3) TNP Application – August 1 – November 1 17-18 FAFSA – October 1, 2016-January 17, 2017 (New and Renewal) Two (2) Mandatory meetings hosted by partnering organization 8 hours of community service completed and submitted – July 1, 2017 (fall) May 1, 2017 if enrolling in Summer ‘17 term Submit materials to institution for FAFSA Verification – October 1, 2017 TASFAA 2016 Legacy of Leadership

TN Promise Important Notes TNP 16-17 Payment Memos will be distributed ASAP once TBR tuition/fees rates have been established. Notification to non-citizens will be sent following 2nd mandatory meeting information upload. Email and Text Communication to students regarding Verification has started and will continue into Summer Upcoming Priority Deadlines Change of Institution – July 15 (specific to 2yr/4yr – can adjust) Submission of Verification Documents – October 1 TASFAA 2016 Legacy of Leadership

TN Promise Important Notes Time on TCAT Waitlist will not impact student eligibility. Waitlist extending into new AC-YR, student will need to meet FAFSA renewal deadline.
