Find information about authors and their works Browse authors or works Literary Reference Center provides information on thousands of authors and their works across literary disciplines and timeframes. It contains: plot summaries, synopses, and work overviews articles/essays of literary criticism author biographies author interviews literary journals book reviews classic and contemporary poems and short stories full text of some classic works
Use the Find box to search by author, title, theme, genre, locale, etc. Results can be narrowed by document type (using the tabs), subject, or publication.
Information about each item includes citation information, author information, locate, genre, subject terms, and more. A link to full text is provided if it is available.
There are also options for printing, emailing, and saving the item.
Advanced Search Advanced Search offers many more options for limiting a search. Users can limit by document type, author’s gender, author’s cultural or national identity, literary locale, genre, and more.
Browse authors by name, country, culture, genre, or movement.
Browse works by title, genre, or locale.
