The age of Greeks and Romans, 3 000 BC – 500 AD Classical Culture 2nd century BC the Roman empire expanded fast Romans admired the Greeks Romans took over ideas from Greek art Greek gods were given Roman names: Zeus Jupiter Aphrodite  Venus Greek-Roman culture together = Classical culture
