Individual Directions to be completed at home Divide up the “Need to Know” subtopics. Who is responsible for what subtopic. Open the “Learn” template on my web page. Following the step by step directions on what needs to be included. You are making 5 slides. Learning about your Subtopic: Sources: use the 20’s and 30’s power point, Who Activities, textbooks to “Learn” your part of the project. Video Sources: Safari videos, Study.com, Video Blocks or Gale US History Library Sources link http://www.lcps.org/domain/4915 When done with your 3 slides, erase directions and save template to your Google Drive.

Google Docs: Go to Google Drive Log in: Password: Save your Power Point to your Google Drive. You will combine them together later in class and hand into History Showcase. Power point Review Sheet

L: Learn it and teach the class (Slide #1) 30 pts Find and have 4-5 Presentation Slides that have pictures and Video Links for your “students” to use to cement information into their brain on your subtopic. (1 from each group member) Video links: Safari/Study.com/Library Sources/History channel/You Tube/about.com To link a video in power point: Click insert, click Hyperlink: copy and paste your link here. Think about what you will say about your pictures to the class. Make a note card of what you want to say. You should not have to say much, your pictures and video clips should teach your students what they need to know.

E: Educate with a Review Sheet/Study suide 30 pts (Slide #2) Your group’s Study Guide tells your classmates what they need to know for the TEST about your subtopic. Your group’s Study Guide will include Dictionary Words. Write here what you are going to put on your group’s Study Guide. Are there any Dictionary words you should have covered? R: Resources-Your Teacher will be checking your slide #4 in class. Grader: N: Now I know it- DILI- Your Teacher will be checking your slide #5’s in class. Put all group’s DILI onto a word document and print for Ms. Z to add to Jeopardy.
