Material Selection Materials are sorted based on Refractive Index to determine which solid – liquid pairs are the best candidates.

Concept #1 Flow enters from the hole closer to the motor on the housing, wraps around the motor shaft, flows through the closed impeller and out.

Concept #2 Flow enters from the hole closer to the motor on the housing, wraps around the motor shaft, flows through the open impeller and out. Note: This causes minor problems connecting the impeller blade to the shaft

Concept #3 Flow enters from the bottom of the housing, takes 3 right hand turns and enters from the front. Then it goes through the open impeller and exits the housing
