How to read the schedule… 1st core class 2nd core class 3rd core class 4th core class
Core Enrichment Students will rotate through their core classes during the time frame of fourth period. Monday is extra time with Period 1 Tuesday is extra time with Period 3 Thursday is extra time with Period 5 Friday is extra time with Period 7 All of sixth grade will have 15-20 minutes of personal silent reading time at the beginning of Core Enrichment All students will need a reading book every day
Advisory Who: All students will be assigned to a Akimel A-al Staff member What: Second Step is a fully web-based program that utilizes weekly lessons addressing four key social-emotional objectives: (1) growth mindset and strategies for achieving goals; (2) making decisions based on values, building positive friendships, and avoiding negative relationships; (3) learning the relationship between thoughts, emotions, decisions, and emotional regulation; and (4) identifying, avoiding, and resolving serious conflicts. When: Every Wednesday morning first thing.

Found on Kyrene.org, Parents, ParentVue In 6th grade the students grades are weighted. 80% of your child’s grade will be assessments. 20% of your child’s grade will be practice work which is classwork, Mathia and homework.
