Regenerated Fibres into Fabrics Regenerated synthetic fibres are produced from raw materials (that form fibres naturally); these are reformed to produce fibres or filaments suitable for making into yarns or fabrics. The first commercial regenerated synthetic fibre was ‘artificial silk’ or rayon, and was made from modified cellulose (wood pulp), known according to later methods of manufacture as viscose.

This blouse made of hemp fibre and Tencel This blouse made of hemp fibre and Tencel. The resulting blend is linen-like: the hemp adds strength and warmth, while Tencel adds uniformity and softness. Tencel it is also known as lyocell and is made out of wood pulp.

This underwear is made from seacell which is made from lycocell made out of Lyocell (a 100% wood pulp fiber) and seaweed. The theory is that your skin will absorb nutrients from the seaweed, which is quite mineral- and vitamin-rich. From what I can gather, Seacell incorporates 5% seaweed content. The fabric was devised in Germany,
