REVISION = RESEEING

REVISION = RESEEING

When your asked to revise look for KEYWORDS! BEST Introduce Revise Words in the passage will be in the answer!!

When your asked to revise look for KEYWORDS! BEST Introduce Revise Words in the passage will be in the answer!! This is not an error! Remember KEY WORDS!!!

Summarize the passage Answer the question what is this passage about? Make sure the answer you choose is ON the same TOPIC as the passage! The answer should use some words from the passage.

If the answer choice talks about something NOT WRITTEN IN THE TEXT IGNORE IT! If it’s not in the text at all it can’t be correct! Cross it off!

The BEST answer is always the most clear choice Keep it simple Don’t choose answers with un-needed words that make the sentence confusing. NO confusion!!

Example of confusion: Which of these best combines sentences 3 and 4? A Her favorite animals lived in Africa, being elephants, tigers, and rhinoceroses. “being” is a un-needed word; it is in the wrong place B Her favorite animals were living in Africa, elephants, tigers, and rhinoceroses. “were living” is a odd way to say this. C Living in Africa, her favorite animals were elephants, tigers, and rhinoceroses. The gerund (-ing word) should not come before all the nouns

Correct answer choice is SIMPLE & CLEAR D. Her favorite animals lived in Africa: elephants, tigers, and rhinoceroses. This sentence states a simple list after introducing that the list will be about animals. So easy!

Switch the answer choices around in your mind!

Lastly, don’t give up. MUTT Keep trying for the ENTIRE time of the test!!!
