The Role of an Arts Liaison Be the public face and point person for the arts at your school and for the broader community Communicate and coordinate the wealth of arts opportunities and resources available to students, educators, and administrators Collaborate with leadership on charting the direction and funding of arts programs and arts integration at your school Gather and verify data for Creative School Certification

How to CRUSH the Creative Schools Survey Know your school’s Arts Liaison. Hopefully that’s you! To be sure, visit bit.ly/ArtsLiaisonContacts 2. Have your data ready to go on launch day Look at your school’s responses from last year Check in with fellow teachers and administrators 3. Creative Schools Survey launch on Monday, April 9! Keep an eye out for an email with login instructions 4. Complete the survey Work in groups! Plan on spending at least 30 minutes You can always save your progress and come back

Receive your survey completion email Check to make sure all your responses are accurate 7. Receive funding for your arts programs Arts Essentials Creative Schools Fund 8. Find yourself on artlook® Map Share your school’s profile with your school community Connect with arts partners and other schools

Important Reminders Elementary School Visual Arts Exhibition, May 31st: Single citywide exhibition! Submission portal is open now. Training Reflection form: Complete it now, or turn in at the Summit and get an extra raffle ticket! Arts Essentials: Anyone with a red dot on their nametag still needs to spend funds by April 6th! Complete your surveys on Learning Hub within 14 days and on ISBE within 60 days. Charters: Fill out an Evaluation to receive a Completion Form for clock hours (one for Training, one for Summit).
