Home Assistant Gold A step-by-step guide for inspectors

Step 1. After inspection, Inspector gives homebuyer the Home Assistant Gold info Inspectors can leave behind the Porch Home Assistant Gold trifold to give the homebuyer more information on what to expect (includes a move-in checklist and $100 discount handyman services).

Step 2. Initial Porch Home Assistant Gold communication sent to the homebuyer Susan, Susan <Inspector> <Your name here> <Inspector> Once the inspection is marked complete in ISN, provided the agent and homebuyer are not opted out of the service, the Porch Home Assistant sends an email to the homebuyer introducing themselves and letting them know when they should expect a call.

Step 3. Initial welcome call to the homebuyer A few days following the email, the Porch Home Assistant calls the homebuyer. If the homebuyer does not answer, the Home Assistant leaves the following voicemail  Hi, <homebuyer name>. This is <home assistant name>, your Porch Home Assistant. I want to connect with you and see if there are any services related to your move I can help you with. Your inspector also provided $100 in Handyman service coupons for you that I’d like to make sure you have the opportunity to use. Please feel free to give me a call back at <number>.

Step 4. homebuyer answers call If the homebuyer does answer the call, the Home Assistant introduces themselves and reminds the homebuyer that this is a free service sponsored by the home inspector. Then, the Home Assistant guides the homebuyer through a consultative conversation and attempts to understand the needs that the homebuyer has. This ranges from getting them a quote on Home Insurance to booking handyman services at a discounted rate using the handyman service coupons.

Step 5. Handyman services performed By booking handyman services through the Porch Home Assistant, the homebuyer gets a full-service experience.   The day before the handyman appointment, the homebuyer receives a reminder text

If something were to come up, the homebuyer can simply text the number back letting them know that they need to push their appointment time. The Home Assistant adjusts the appointment seamlessly and reconfirms.

Step 6. Quotes for other services. For services Porch does not provide, the Home Assistant will ask the homeowner if they would like multiple quotes for a project they are considering. If the homeowner would like to get connected to professionals, Porch will make that introduction and facilitate the conversation between the homeowner and professional. The Home Assistant is always available to find additional professionals for the homeowner.

Step 7. Reactive services at any time The Porch Home Assistant Gold program offers 24/7 support for homebuyers. homebuyers can call the Porch Home Assistant line (844-314-1347) at any time to get support or, if after hours, homebuyers can call the 24/7 emergency hotline for assistance (888-751-0489).
