A Classroom Teacher can... speak to colleagues about a student. conference with a student’s teacher from last year. learn what worked/what didn’t and why. Learn strategies from others as most teachers have a number of strategies to offer others.

Peers & Parents Often peers know more about what is causing a student to misbehave than parents. Peer pressure may help you. Use Parental Intervention not as a threat but as a support for student(s). Role model could be an Older Student, Favorite teacher? Others?

School Resource person Most often a Special Ed. Resource person can help you to find a resolution to a problem or locate a coping strategy for a dilemma. Why not take Special Ed. Courses in behavior.

Conference Regularly
