Hinduism I can gain information about Hinduism by reading and taking notes in order to understand its impact on ancient India.

Expectations for Studying Religion You don’t have to agree with everything you hear, but you do have to try to understand other religions. Be respectful toward other beliefs and customs. Share your knowledge.

Major Religions of India % Hindus 78.35% Muslims 14.2% Christians 2.34% Sikhs 1.87% Buddhists .77% Jains .41% India currently has 1.27 billion people. It will become the world’s largest country in 2025.

Monotheism Review Mono = one Theism = Belief in a god Mono + theism = belief that there is only one god.

All three of these religions worship the same god. Examples Judaism = G-d (real name is not said out loud) Christianity = God Islam = (Allah) All three of these religions worship the same god.
