Session Goals Review 2017 GAC Election Effort Announce results of GAC Chair election Share information about leadership team transition and make-up over next five (5) months

2017 Election Effort Potential Election Every Year (at least for vice chairs) Desire to hear more voices – not just meeting attendees (electronic voting). Preserve the capability for secret voting Administration Role of Staff Supervision Role of Departing leaders

Election Learning Tally tool is reliable and effective Tally tool is secure and appropriately both flexible and inflexible Retains administrator flexibility to designate official voters Not capable of being reopened after launch Voters could successfully change votes Balloting histories are available to voters for review Staff recommends that Tally be used for future elections Final issue – retention of data
