Brainstorming on Bullying… In your sourcebooks, respond to the following prompt/questions: Define bullying How do you think the bullied feels? What do you think bullying looks like?

What is Bullying? Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied and who bully others may have serious, lasting problems.

Why does bullying occur in schools? Turn and Talk: Discuss various reasons as to why bullying occurs in middle schools
