Fayetteville State University Minority College Outreach Programs FY18-19 Initiative #3 Formulate and sustain National Guard wide partnerships and relationships with Colleges and Universities, Affinity groups, and Community-based organizations to provide a formal and informal pipeline to the National Guard creating a Diverse Force. Fayetteville State University Minority College Outreach Programs Program Objectives: Implement Presidential Executive Orders Formulize the Minority College Outreach Program within the National Guard states and territories, the “54” Enhance Capabilities/Infrastructures of Minority Serving Institutions Collaborate with Faculty, Staff and Students for increased Marketing and exposure of the National Guard Exchange Resources Fayetteville State University

Fayetteville State University Minority College Outreach Programs Goals: Help identify minority institutions. Build and enhance capabilities to support National Guard Bureau. Market NGB’s Minority College Outreach Program & educate responsible officials on administration requirements to support institutions of higher education. Establish and maintain a collaborative effort with identified minority colleges & universities that have mutual interests and capabilities to exchange. Utilize available recruitment tools to increase minority participation. (ROTC, Student Employment Programs, Fellowships, etc.) Fayetteville State University
