George Muller’s Background: Mother: Sophie Muller (died in 1820) Father: Johann Muller (died in 1840) Older brother: Friedrich Muller (died 1838) George was born in Kroppenstaedt (now Kroppenstedt), a village in the Kingdom of Prussia

What is an orphan? An orphan is a child whose parents have died. In common usage, only a child who has lost both parents due to death is called an orphan.

What is a missionary? A Christian missionary is commissioned by the Lord to make disciples, followers of Christ.

Do you need to go far away to be a missionary? No, not always. A missionary is a follower of Jesus who feels God telling them to share the Gospel with people who have never been taught about Jesus before.
