Downtown Attraction & Development The success of our community is directly related to the success of our businesses. The City Council has identified support to business as being one of our highest priorities. Our partnership with the Dublin Chamber of Commerce is important, and I want to compliment the Chamber on the recently-held Business Expo they held in February here at the Shannon Center. Their Expo was vibrant and well-attended and highlights why Dublin is a great place for business. Several pilot programs: Decorate Dublin Holiday Contest recently launched Downtown Dublin Wi-Fi, which provides free wifi to public gathering spaces in the Downtown Dublin area Regional partnerships to support small businesses: Tri-Valley Manufacturing Day GameChangers Awards Tri-Valley Commerce Con Last summer, the City produced a “How to Start a Business Guide,” with practical tips, helpful resources, and important tools to empower businesses as they navigate the local, state, and federal processes.
