Medical Terminology – List 2 Analgesic – pain reliever Anaphylaxis – severe allergic reaction Anesthetic – substance that causes lack of feeling or awareness Anomaly – deviation from the norm Anoxia – lack of oxygen Antagonist muscle – muscle that counteracts action of the agonist; muscle that opposes movement
