Who are we? Local NGO from Yemen Vision: a peaceful and stable Yemen free of poverty Mission: to enhance local communities' development & stability through identifying structural causes of poverty, raising awareness, increasing access to basic services as well as focusing on building the Yemeni citizens' capacities, especially women and youth so as to enable their participation in the decision- making process that leads to sustainable development and a peaceful society Programs: WASH, Health & Nutrition, Education, Protection & Gender, Food Security & Livelihood Governance & Peacebuilding

What is “I am an IDP” App. ? It is a free SMART phone app Can be downloaded from Google Play It has three objectives: 1- To increase self referral to services by providing adequate information to IDPs on available services & providers in their location. 2- To enhance tracking of IDP movements & identify their needs for better humanitarian response 3- To improve quality of protection services by encouraging reviews of beneficiaries to services received. It is free SMART phones’ application. You can download it from Google Play and use it for facilitating the registering of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). The purpose of the App is track IDPs movements and identify their needs for better and prompt humanitarian response. The application aims to provide adequate information to displaced people on available services providers in their displacement location through regularly registering and updating the available services in all location around. It also facilitates the provision of the feedbacks from the beneficiaries of the services provided in order to enhance complaining mechanisms and accordingly quality of that services.

Since launching the demo January 11th 2017: - 407 users have downloaded the application - 7,041 services have registered - 74 IDPs have registered.

Next Steps Assessment of IDP use of Smart phones and internet. Adding the protection services in all governorates. Verification of the services added to the App (Continuous process). Evaluation of the App together with the Executive Unit of IDPs.
