STEP 1: Graduation Requirements Login to Skyward and Check what graduation requirements are Remaining.

STEP 2: Schedule 1) Select Schedule 2) Select View Requests for next school year in Bellingham High School (Right Side)

STEP 3: Select Classes Check the Course Catalog for course descriptions and pre-requisites. Talk with your current Math and Science teacher for their recommendations. Type in a course code or scroll through the list of classes, then Add Course. NOTE: Some courses are pre-scheduled. For example, English 101, English 201, Health, etc.

STEP 4: Check Your Credits Make sure you signed up for 8.0 credits.

STEP 5: Select Alternates Select at least 9 alternates in case you don’t get your first choice.

R=Requested Courses Numbers (1, 2, 3, etc.)=Alternatives

STEP 6: Review Your Courses Check Graduation Requirements again. Did you select the courses you need? Talk with your parents about your course choices.

Check the BHS Counseling website for a link to the application. Talk with your counselor about this option. Credit Remediation Talk with your counselor about options to make up courses you failed. Special Education Check with your Case Manager to discuss your courses.

Frequently Asked Questions Q: I was automatically signed up for a course I already took. How do I change it? A: Select the course and click Remove Course. Add the correct course. Q: I’m going to go to Running Start or NW Career Academy. What courses should I add? A: Select a full schedule unless you know what classes you want at BHS and which classes you want to take through Running Start. We can change it later when we are certain of your schedule. Q: What if I change my mind later and want a different course? A: Let your counselor know. You will also be allowed to request schedule changes at the beginning of the school year. Q: If I don’t sign up for classes by the deadline, what classes will I get? A: It is highly recommended that you select your own courses. If you miss the deadline, your counselor will add you to classes where there are openings.
