Serving my community is what brings great meaning to my life Serving my community is what brings great meaning to my life. Being able to see young people thrive and overcome obstacles is what brings a smile to my face! AmeriCorps service has brought me both change and opportunity! Tutored 40 AVID students for 5 hours each week Created an afterschool reading buddies program Led a spring break service trip Supported a youth leadership club at the middle school Created a new system for tracking homework progress
