The Importance of Butterflies One amusing fact about the butterfly is that they help the environment by pollinating the other flowers. They make nature look beautiful in a natural way. They help the flower get the serum out and take less weight on it. Some people say that the butterfly is the symbol of life.

What do they eat? You can always ask yourself what they eat but surprisingly the butterfly doesn’t eat at all, they drink nectar! The butterfly has a straw like tongue that it sucks the nectar out of the flower while the pollen gets attached to the butterfly and when it flies away it spreads it.

The butterfly becomes predator to… Many other insects can take the butterfly as part of their diet. For Example: Wasp, Ants, parasitic flies, birds, snakes, toads, rats, lizards, dragonflies and even monkeys!
