Relationship in Government -Federalism is a system of government in which entities such as states or provinces share power with a national government. The United States government functions according to the principles of federalism. -The definition of a unitary government or unitary state is a system of political organization with a central supreme government which holds the authority over and makes the decisions for subordinate local governments. -When a group of people or nations form an alliance, it is called a confederation, allowing each member to govern itself but agreeing to work together for common causes. http://apgovt.wikispaces.com/file/view/Federalism.jpg/30992839/Federalism.jpg http://www.livescience.com/10635-queen-ant-sacrifice-colony-retain-throne.html http://ngw.nl/heraldrywiki/images/6/6f/Cantons6.chpc.jpg https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/federalism https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/confederation
