What are 21st Century Skills Is it enough to just give the facts about 21st Century Skills? Gordon Brown (2000) Innovation Skills for the 21st Century Paine (2012) uses the 4 C’s (Creativity, Collaboration, Critical Thinking and Communication) to describe gaining advantage Kerber (2010) suggests a ‘prescriptive list’ is not suitable for our students, and favours 3 ‘overarching attributes’: Enquiry and Lifelong Learning Aspiration and Personal Development Outlook and Engagement

What are 21st Century Skills – Condense them! The core skills that have the most impact Graduates of all disciplines need to prepare for the challenges of the 21st century by developing: ‘creativity, confidence and lifelong learning skills’ Stewart J, Svaramkumar S and Seenan C (2016)
