Community College Dual Enrollment What is Dual Enrollment? It’s an opportunity to earn college credit while taking classes in high school. Partnership: Maricopa Community College District

Students can earn up to an Associate degree simply by taking dual enrolled courses in high school. Most in state universities will accept dual enrollment credit. Grades for dual credit are part of your college GPA.

Benefits of Dual Enrollment Save Money Reduced Tuition ($73 per credit) Grant Opportunity (Submit application by 8/31/18) Save Time Start working towards your degree in high school. Earn college credit for a class you are already taking.

Create or Re-activate an Account New students: Go to: My.Maricopa.edu Enroll Now Start new application Social Security # Write down your MEID and password Write down your College ID #3 Submit Proof of Citizenship Birth certificate and SMHS ID Driver’s License Passport Enrollment Steps

Enrollment Steps Each course has different testing requirements. PSAT, ACT, SAT, AZ Merit scores might exempt your student from taking a placement test. Check the Course Schedule for specific score requirements. If your student qualifies and doesn’t need to take a placement test, bring a copy of their PSAT, ACT, SAT or AZ Merit score on testing day.
