Noyce Summit Goals Q: In 20 years, what do you want students to learn and teachers to teach? A: Attend the 2018 Summit. Key Goals of Summit: share and exchange ideas about how STEM teacher education programs can foster deeper connections among STEM fields within each course, including connections to societal challenges and the risk and benefits of science; and share and exchange ideas about NSF Noyce projects’ ongoing efforts to change STEM teacher education programs, practices, and strategies for supporting the STEM teacher workforce in high-need school districts. My Challenge to You Use this Summit to reach summit levels of consultations, deliberations, discussions, & interchanges of opinions to move STEM teacher education.

5 Suggestions for Having a Transformative Experience at the 2018 Noyce Summit Be present. Participate and communicate. Engage in lots of critical thinking and little cynical thinking. Have fun … remember that everyone here already has an A. Be on time (even for the 8 am sessions).
