Spelling Tasks Students can complete these tasks on notebook paper or in their Google Drive. They can be completed at home and at school. Monday As you read through text at home and during your independent reading, write down words using prefix un- and dis-. If you are working at school, add them to your anchor chart in your vocabulary notebook. If you are completing this activity at home, you may write your words on notebook paper. Tuesday Choose six words from your spelling list. Underline the root word and circle the prefix. Example: uncertain Wednesday Using the six words from Tuesday, write the meaning of each word. Example: uncertain – the opposite of certain or not certain. Thursday Practice spelling the words by saying them and writing them.
