The Why of Electronic Policy In your notebook think about and reflect on the following question by your self. Think about our school rules and classroom and hallway expectations. Why can’t you use your electronics in class and during passing?

The Why of Electronic Policy Why can’t you use your electronics in class and during passing? Talk with a partner about the why. You will need to share with your class.

The Why of Electronic Policy Hoyt has the Electronic Policy to help students stay Safe and Orderly. When you have your electronics out in the hallway you are not watching where you are going and could run into someone. This could really hurt that person or start a fight.

The Why of Electronic Policy Hoyt has the Electronic Policy to help students Achieve. In class it is hard to focus when friends are trying to have personal conversations or there is drama on Facebook.

The Why of Electronic Policy Hoyt has the Electronic Policy to help students Achieve. In the hallway you may not be focusing on the time and may be tardy to get to class. Remember we don’t want to be late to class. This may hurt us when we get a job.

The Why of Electronic Policy Hoyt has the Electronic Policy to help students be Respectful. When on your electronics you may be on social media like Facebook, Snap Chat, or Instagram. Any of these could have hurtful messages about students in class. This may cause drama and fights. This is not helping us to be respectful.

The Why of Electronic Policy Hoyt has the Electronic Policy to help students be Respectful. When you are listening to or talking to someone it is disrespectful to be on your electronics. You really need to give them your full attention which may not occur when you are on your electronics.

Recap Electronics are put away during passing time and during class. If your parents need to get ahold of you and it is an emergency they may call the office. Electronics can become a huge distraction in schools.

Electronic Policy Reflection In your notebook explain the following question by yourself. Explain in your own words the expectation for electronics and why we follow it.
