Summary of JIP Objective: To provide a sound and consistent basis of BOP shear ram capability and reliable performance data that can be applied to improving the safety, performance, and operation of subsea BOPs, through establishing a cost-effective process of collecting, analyzing, and sharing BOP shear ram results. Three subgroups have been formed and actively working: Charter Development Group Test Protocol Group Database Development Group Have developed draft Charter and Test Protocol Participants companies consist of: (5) Drilling Contractors (3) OEMs (16) Operators (4) Third-Party Service (1) Standards Committee (1) Regulatory
