POWER TO TRANSFER CASES Sec. (225) State Govt. In D interest of justice may transfer any case from one RO to another RO of an equal or superior rank In D same distt. or any other distt.

To & from subordinate Sec. 226 (1) Commnr.Collr.SDO or Tah. may transfer a case to any RO subordinate to him OR withdraw.. (2) Commnr.Collr.SDO or Tah. may make over for inquiry & report any case from his own file to any RO subordinate to him

Power to summon 227 RO not below rank of AK or DILR(SLR) power to summon (if necessary) any person to, Examine as a party, Evidence as a witness or Produce documents

Procedure of summon 228 Every summons shall b in Writing Duplicate State purpose Signed by Offr issuing with his Seal

Mode of serving sec. 230 In person or Authorised agent or Adult member of family Affixing copy on last known place At Public place in which village land situated

Hearing in absence of party sec. 232 Failure to pay PF-Dismissed in default Non appearance after serving – Proceed Expartee(In absence ) Dismissed in default if applicant not appeared

To Set aside order sec. 232(3) May apply within 30 days by explaining sufficient cause for absence. RO if satisfied may setaside . May restore after paying PF

Adjournment of Hearing sec. 233 RO may adjourn hearing by recording reason there of Avoide … “Tarikh Pe Tarikh”……
