The 3 States of Matter

Water appears in three states: Solid Liquid Gas

Liquid Water Stream Ocean Rain Liquid feels wet. Liquid does not have a definite shape. It takes up a definite amount of space. Ocean Rain

Solid Snow Iceberg Ice Liquid becomes solid when it freezes, then becoming ice. It has a definite shape. It has a different feel. Ice

Gas Matter becomes gas when heat is added. Gas does not take up a definite amount of space. Examples: steam, smoke and air

Let’s check on the experiment!!
