Baby Bottle Fundraiser Sunday, May 13 to Sunday, June 17

Psalm 103 Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits Praise the Lord, my soul;   all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul,     and forget not all his benefits

Psalm 103 who forgives all your sins     and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit     and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Psalm 103 The Lord works righteousness     and justice for all the oppressed. He made known his ways to Moses,     his deeds to the people of Israel:

Psalm 103 The Lord is compassionate and gracious,     slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse,     nor will he harbor his anger forever; He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love  for those who fear him; As far as the east is from the west,     so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion  on his children,     so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him

What is the Father Really Like? What Kind of Father?

What is the Father Really Like? What Kind of Father?

What is the Father Really Like? What Kind of Father?

What is the Father Really Like? What Kind of Father?

What is the Father Really Like? A Different Picture Luke 5:30 “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?” Luke 7:34 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Here’s a glutton and drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’

What is the Father Really Like? A Different Picture Who rejected who? How was he punished? Who changed? What restored the relationship?

What is the Father Really Like? Like Son, Like Father

What is the Father Really Like? Like Son, Like Father Habbakuk 1:13 You who are of purer eyes than to see evil and cannot look at wrong, Why do you idly look at traitors and remain silent when the wicked swallows up the man more righteous than he?

What is the Father Really Like? Like Son, Like Father Psalm 22:1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?

Psalm 22:23-24 You who fear the Lord, praise him!     All you descendants of Jacob, honor him!     Revere him, all you descendants of Israel! For he has not despised or scorned     the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him     but has listened to his cry for help.

What is the Father Really Like? Like Son, Like Father John 1:18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known. John 14:9 - Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.

1 John 4:9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. John 5:19 “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.

John 1:12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

What is the Father Really Like? Like Father, like Son How can a child of God behave like their Father?
