FRC Activity Update Dr. W. Robert Ashurst Faculty Research Committee Chair University Senate Meeting June 13, 2017

the FRC Consists of one faculty member from each college and representatives from the Graduate School, IRB (1 & 2), IACUC, IBC and the OVPRED. Charged to identify, discuss and propose solutions to issues at large that impact the research Enterprise at AU. Meets monthly with lively discussion.

Broader Topics Research Metrics: How to best capture research impact and productivity across many disciplines. Scholarship Incentivization: How to encourage and/or support faculty to pursue extramural funding.
