Isaiah 40:28-31 (28) Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

Isaiah 40:28-31 (29) He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.

Isaiah 40:28-31 (30) Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, (31) But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us…

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us…

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us…

Isaiah 40:31 (31) But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Those Who Wait On The Lord Isaiah 40:31

Those Who Wait On The Lord… Wait Till Marriage Wait for intimate relationship (He.13:4) Wait for true help meet (Ge.2:18) 18 And the LORD God said, "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him."

Proverbs 31:10-12 10 Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. 11 The heart of her husband safely trusts her; So he will have no lack of gain. 12 She does him good and not evil All the days of her life.

Proverbs 11:22 As a ring of gold in a swine's snout, So is a lovely woman who lacks discretion.

Proverbs 12:4 An excellent wife is the crown of her husband, But she who causes shame is like rottenness in his bones.

Proverbs 22:24 24 Make no friendship with an angry man, And with a furious man do not go,

Proverbs 24:30-34 30 I went by the field of the lazy man, And by the vineyard of the man devoid of understanding; 31 And there it was, all overgrown with thorns; Its surface was covered with nettles; Its stone wall was broken down.

Proverbs 24:30-34 32 When I saw it, I considered it well; I looked on it and received instruction: 33 A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest; 34 So shall your poverty come like a prowler, And your need like an armed man.

Proverbs 26:13-16 13 The lazy man says, "There is a lion in the road! A fierce lion is in the streets!" 14 As a door turns on its hinges, So does the lazy man on his bed.

Proverbs 26:13-16 15 The lazy man buries his hand in the bowl; It wearies him to bring it back to his mouth. 16 The lazy man is wiser in his own eyes Than seven men who can answer sensibly.

Those Who Wait On The Lord… Wait Till Marriage Wait for intimate relationship (He.13:4) Wait for true help meet (Ge.2:18)

Those Who Wait On The Lord… Wait For Their Home (Ph.3:19-21)

Philippians 3:19-21 (19) whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame--who set their mind on earthly things. (20) For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

Philippians 3:19-21 (21) who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

Those Who Wait On The Lord… Wait For Their Home (Ph.3:19-21) Like the fathers of faith (He.11:13-16)

Hebrews 11:13-16 (13) These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Hebrews 11:13-16 (14) For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland.

Hebrews 11:13-16 (15) And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. (16) But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.

Those Who Wait On The Lord… Wait For Their Home (Ph.3:19-21) Like the fathers of faith (He.11:13-16) Invest our treasure in our home (Mt.6:19-21) (Hag.1:3-11)

Matthew 6:19-21 (19) "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;

Matthew 6:19-21 (20) "but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. (21) "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Haggai 1:3-9 (3) Then the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet, saying, (4) "Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?" (5) Now therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts: "Consider your ways!

Haggai 1:3-9 (6) "You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes."

Haggai 1:3-9 (7) Thus says the LORD of hosts: "Consider your ways! (8) "Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified," says the LORD.

Haggai 1:3-9 (9) "You looked for much, but indeed it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?" says the LORD of hosts. "Because of My house that is in ruins, while every one of you runs to his own house.

Those Who Wait On The Lord… Wait Till Marriage (Heb.13:4) Wait For Their Home (Phil.3:19-21)

Those Who Wait On The Lord… The Lord waited on me… I should be willing to wait on Him! But DO NOT wait to obey the gospel (Ac.22:16) And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
