Safety culture assessment Perception survey: 363 of 450 employees completed (81%) return rate Fairly positive results ranged between 3.56-4.16/5.00 Focus groups at employee hub locations: London/Winnipeg/Regina/Edmonton Recognized that there was room to further improve and strengthen corporate safety culture Focused on all aspects of communication within the organization including managerial communication processes and peer-to-peer

Initiatives Introduction of TrackSmart – The goal of TrackSmart is to have a shared safety culture and improve communication and education across the company. ITS HOW WE DO THINGS AROUND HERE Employee Safety Education Program – 8 hour interactive program covering modules on safety culture, human factors, personal fatigue management, ergonomics, hazard identification, distracted driving Enhanced/targeted employee safety meetings Additional training for supervisors and managers focusing on managing safety

Initiatives Re-vamped employee newsletter and intra-net page Re-defined Efficiency Tests focusing on quality, coaching, mentorship Development of Railway Education Program for our customers Expanded Corp Safety Dept to provide field support Development of new IT program focused on safety performance analysis
