Trusteeship Council Chamber Unlocking the potential of the Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to accelerate structural economic transformation in the LLDCs and the achievement of the SDGs Side Event: 2018 ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development follow-up  Wednesday, 25 April 2018, 1:15 – 2:30 p.m. Trusteeship Council Chamber The side event will provide a platform to discuss best practices in building the resilience and competitiveness of the SMEs in LLDCs to enhance their contribution to economic growth, structural economic transformation and the achievement of the SDGs. The session will also explore policy options for creating a conducive environment for successful integration of the SMEs in LLDCs into global trade.
