Solemn Assembly Joel 1:14, “Consecrate a fast, proclaim a solemn assembly; gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land to the house of the Lord your God, and cry out to the Lord.” Joel 2:12-15, "Yet even now," declares the LORD, ‘Return to Me with all your heart, And with fasting, weeping and mourning; and rend your heart and not your garments’ Now return to the LORD your God. . .Blow a trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, proclaim a solemn assembly. . .”

Solemn Assembly 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

1. Individual Sins Against God Lack of love, devotion and service to God, prayerlessness, stubbornness, hardness of heart Idolatry (priority, devotion to other things, jobs and people) Broken Altars & Promises, Complacency & Indifference Disdain for God’s Word & Little or no fear of God    Against Man Envy, Covetousness, Selfishness, Greed & Materialistic Arrogance & Pride Wrath, Bitterness & Unforgiveness Lying, Slander & Malicious gossip, Lust, Fornication, Adultery, Homosexuality

Faith Declaration I declare that I will love the Lord my God with all my heart, and with all my soul and with all my strength and with all my mind. I will love my neighbour as myself. I will seek the Lord, Jesus Christ and will only worship Him. I will throw off everything that hinders and the sin that entangles me. I will run with perseverance the race marked out for me. I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

2. Family Sins Parents Broken Family Altars & Covenant, Ungodly living Abortion, divorce, adultery, immorality. Unresolved conflicts & bitterness. Failure to raise children in the ways of the Lord, focus on academic excellence only. Children Rebellion, dishonoring & disobedience to parents Neglect of elderly parents Wrongful influences, drugs, evil practices.

Faith Declarations We thank you Lord for the gift of family. We are blessed, we will love our family and loved ones. We will be kind, caring and forgiving towards all of our family members. We will live in peace and submit to my parents. We are all safe under the Lord’s watchful eyes. You grant us happiness and health. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. We claim the promises of God for our family.

3.Church Sins Pastors Failure to be godly & righteous Hypocrisy, neglect of private devotions. Neglect in role of priest/watchmen. Failure to lead God’s flock.   Members Lack of reverence for God, lukewarm Unfaithful church attendance, lack of wholehearted participation, disunity Not tithers & generous givers Neglect of Great Commission, Failure to be light & salt in the community & nation

Faith Declarations Our pastors will shepherd their flock. They will have strong leadership with the gifts of the Holy Spirit in their lives. They will teach and impart knowledge & understanding. We the church will be united, loving one another & bearing one another’s burdens. We will be a worshipping, evangelistic, discipling and praying community seeking to fulfil the purposes of God.

4. State & National Sins Citizens Racism, ethnic hatred and prejudices Apathy and neglect of God Greed, Materialism, civil disorder Gangsterism, Prostitution, Drug & People Trafficking, Crime & Bloodshed Leaders Unjust Judicial System Unrighteous, Proud, self- serving, greedy & corrupt Poor governance & leadership Evil associations & witchcraft  

Faith Declarations There will be prosperity, peace and harmony. None will be marginalized. Righteousness, justice and fairness will prevail. Our economy will be revived. There will be efficient government departments. There will be salvation & spiritual awakenings. Malaysia is blessed and favored of the Lord. The blessings will be with the present and future generations. His mercy, grace and goodness are upon our land. Malaysia will fulfil her redemptive purpose.
