Schooling Physical Therapist Assistants only need an Associate’s Degree to begin work. They have to study the basic medical courses along with general courses. They also will probably get plenty of hands-on experience during internship. Physical Therapists have to obtain a Master’s Degree to practice. In the future, though, a doctoral degree program might be the required entry-level degree. Many programs require volunteer experience before admittance.
