Honors in the Major collection, all time, pulled April 10, 2017 As an author, you will receive access to your own author dashboard (show dashboard) One thesis has been downloaded over 7,000 times
Create your STARS account Create your account stars.library.ucf.edu Click on My Account DON’T FORGET YOUR PASSWORD!! You will use this account to upload your thesis First, you need to create your account. Go to stars.library.ucf.edu Once you complete format review, you will receive instructions on how to submit, as well as a checklist of what you need to have handy
Submitting to STARS After you have completed format review, you will receive upload instructions Make sure you have everything ready to submit your document You can only submit ONCE ABSOLUTELY NO CHANGES ONCE YOU SUBMIT No, seriously, no changes I’m not joking Once you complete format review, you will receive instructions on how to submit, as well as a checklist of what you need to have handy
Before you complete the Submission Agreement, have the following ready: The title page of your work This will have most of the information needed Keywords Abstract As text, not copied and pasted from your pdf Embargo/Dissemination choice Your thesis and any supplemental files You will receive notification once your thesis has been added and is available.
Further thoughts… Check your spelling! Typos cannot be fixed Make sure you submit to Honors in the Major Theses Don’t include your advisor as an author, YOU are the author DO NOT include your PID or NID Use proper capitalization, NOT ALL CAPS UNLESS YOU ARE SHOUTING… Did I mentioned you can only submit once? And that no changes can be made once your work is submitted?
